General objective of our roles:

  • Be an ambassador for the Philips Brand
  • Engage and educate the consumer/shopper about Philips Domestic Appliances portfolios and product offerings.
  • Ensure and drive with excellence the visibility and availability of Philips Domestic Appliance products at the point of sales ie; Shop in Shops, In Store, On Shelf, Promotional Courts, Bulk Display Areas, Golden Zones, Gondola Ends and the likes of.
  • Implementation of Point-of-Sale Elements/Materials in store and at events
  • Drive Sales Growth in store
  • Promoter Campaigns as and when required and launched.
  • Execute on activations in store, conference and partner events.
  • Merchandising across retailer channels of Philips Domestic Appliances Product

The objectives will relate to Philips Domestic Appliances portfolios which are currently categorised as:

    • Kitchen Appliances (KA)
    • Garment Care (GC)
    • Floor Care (FC)
    • Coffee (CO)
    • Air (AIR)

 

Key Responsibilities:

    1. Team Management:
      • Lead and manage brand ambassadors and Blitz team members, ensuring alignment with Versuni's brand ethos and objectives.
      • Provide guidance, support, and training to the RFM team to maximize performance and productivity.
    2. Store Visits and Relationship Building:
      • Strategically plan and execute store visits according to a predetermined call diary, ensuring comprehensive coverage of outlets on a monthly, fortnightly, or weekly basis.
      • Foster sustainable relationships with store personnel and management to secure optimal placement and visibility of Philips products.
    3. Execution and Maintenance:
      • Oversee the maintenance of store bases, ensuring impeccable execution, display space optimization, and adequate in-stock levels of Philips products.
      • Ensure compliance with merchandising guidelines and planograms provided by Philips, both during non-promotional periods and promotional campaigns.
    4. Promotional Activities:
      • Coordinate with the RFM team to execute promotional activities, including the placement of freestanding units and other point-of-sale materials in-store during promotional periods.
      • Responsibly manage the transport of promotional materials from Philips warehouses to the respective stores.
    5. Stock Management:
      • Manage stock returns and exchanges with customers as necessary, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation.
    6. Reporting and Communication:
      • Utilize smart devices to capture and upload photos, communicate instructions, and generate reports on store visits, execution quality, and sales performance.
    7. RFM team members shall perform an audit on the resources reporting to him/her and give guidance to the staff member’s in order to better the Philips presence overall presence and execution in store
    8. The RFM team shall ensure - that each Thursday or Friday the Promoters are equipped with demo ingredients for the upcoming weekend
    9. Update a monthly activations and tactical in-store plans for your Region
    10. For better coordination, Philips trade marketing would have direct contact with the RFM team as and when required
    11. The RFM team shall ensure reports are submitted on agreed deadlines. For example ad hoc reports, competitor information, sell-out, inventory, returns, execution status, tracking of promotion, and voice of customer.
    12. Manage Blitz Team Duties that of:
      • Campaign roll-out of POSM and the recall of POSM and discarding thereof
      • Outline store coverage:  Weekend in-store demo activations and audits on weekend promoters.
      • Ad hoc promotions: Assistance with general field marketing team duties where required
      • Audits on competitor in market, voice of consumers feedback
      • Build profitable relationships with store base allocated to them
      • Implement sell-out initiatives, below the line activations
      • Maintain prime locations and share of shelf for Philips in store
    13. Manage Brand Ambassadors (BA) and Weekend Dedicated Promoter Team to drive the sellout of Philips Domestic Appliances:
      • The BA team should be placed in the stores according to Philips Retail Store Base
      • Set BA Call Cycles
      • BA team is obligated to follow the policies and guidelines communicated by the store
      • BA team should meet RFM once a week for reports, concerns, feedback, plans, directives on weekly focus, strategy and any in store elements materials hand over such as POSM + demo ingredients.
      • Weekend Activations are Mandatory for BA and WDP
      • The BA team to win #1 position in store for all executions.
      • The BA team to ensure daily maintenance of correct price tickets in store, on and off promo
      • The BA team to ensure the correct execution of in-store merchandizing according to Philips and Retailers’ directives and/or planograms
      • The BA team should build fruitful relationships with retailers and their staff
      • The BA team is required to adhere to a dress code that Philips will share with the successful selected partner
      • Conduct WET/DRY demonstrations as and when required and aligned to our key skus as well as the product focus in accordance with seasonality
      • Constant engagement with customers
      • Demo product maintenance and hygiene
      • Support to retailer when Philips Domestic Appliances Brand is involved with store related event/activity
Requirements

2-3 years' experience in FMCG environment at a managerial/ supervisory level||Essential / Minimum|0-5 years|
